Miscanthus sinensis 'Ferner Osten'

A stunning grass with plume-like flower panicles emerging in summer. Initially a rich shade of red, but they turn pinkish and then silvery as they mature over the season. It's a showy grass, that can be used as a stand-alone specimen, but it will also add bit of late drama to the border. Max height 1.5m and max spread 1m. Hardy.
